"Don't you want to stand still with me?”

"That's the thing about needs. Sometimes when you get them met, you don't need them anymore. "

"Later that day I got to thinking about relationships. There are those that open you up to something new and exotic, those that are old and familiar, those that bring up lots of questions, those that bring you somewhere unexpected, those that bring you far from where you started, and those that bring you back. But the most exciting, challenging and significant relationship of all is the one you have with yourself. And if you find someone to love the you you love, well, that's just fabulous."

"Maybe some women aren't meant to be tamed. Maybe they just need to run free til they find someone just as wild to run with them.”

Tough Advice

Dear C.C.,
I have been with my boyfriend for almost 10months now, and I told him before we started dating that I wanted to wait to have sex, not necessarily before marriage, but just until I am ready. He did a very well job at respecting that, no pressure at all. Well I am 100% sure that I am ready, but I don't really know how to tell him?
- Finally Ready

Dearest Finally Ready,
How to tell him, you can do better, SHOW him! If your as ready as you say you are, you must be comfortable with him. When you have a night alone, put on something sexy and you start the action. He will LOVE that! And Congrats!
Sincerely, C.C.

Tough Advice

C.C.,
I wanted to go into the medical field, when I started applying for college, my father told me I have to be realistic. So, I chickened out and did not send in the applications I wanted, but to ones I only knew I would get in because he is paying for my education as long as I pass. I am afraid if I go into medicine, I will fail, and end up broke.
- Dr. Preschool Teacher

Dear, Dr. Preschool Teacher,
Nothing bothers me more when someone tells someone else what they can only and cannot achieve. Who's job is it to set your limit? (The answer is you, if you did not know) If you really, truly want to be a doctor, you will not let yourself fail. If you like children, Dr. Preschool Teacher, and medicine, try combining them with pediatrics. This is the rest of your life you are talking about, follow your passion or you will regret it!
Sincerely, C.C.

Tough Advice

Dear C.C.,
I am a junior in college, and I have yet to find a good guy to date long term. Really, a good guy to love. I have found so many jerks that I thought may be the one, that I just want to give up! What should I do?
- Hopeless

Dear Hopeless,
You already know what to do. Give up! Stop searching. Love is not like the romance movies my dear, it is not that easy to find. Love will find you. You find so many jerks because you are in such a rush, you keep thinking 'what if he is the one?'. That is not a thought that will ever come in mind with 'the one'. When you find 'the one' there will be no thought, no question, you will simply just know. For now, relax.
Sincerely, C.C.

"There's not a day goes by I don't feel regret. Not because I'm in here, or because you think I should. I look back on the way I was then: a young, stupid kid who committed that terrible crime. I want to talk to him. I want to try and talk some sense to him, tell him the way things are. But I can't. That kid's long gone and this old man is all that's left. I got to live with that. Rehabilitated? It's just a bullshit word. So you go on and stamp your form, sonny, and stop wasting my time. Because to tell you the truth, I don't give a shit. "
